Instructions
Cook the noodles
Boil the instant noodles according to the package instructions, about 2–3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Sauté garlic and spices
In a small pan, heat chili oil and sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until golden and fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
Mix the sauce
Turn off the heat. Stir in soy sauce and rice vinegar to the garlic chili mixture.
Combine and serve
Toss the cooked noodles in the spicy garlic sauce until well coated. Transfer to a bowl and top with green onions and a soft-boiled egg if desired.
