Instructions
Sauté aromatics
In a pot, heat a splash of oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Add broth and simmer
Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, fish sauce (if using), and chili sauce. Bring to a simmer.
Cook beef and noodles
Add the sliced beef and cook for 2–3 minutes until just cooked. Add the instant noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3 minutes.
Add greens and finish
Stir in bok choy or spinach and cook until wilted, about 1 minute. Drizzle with sesame oil and remove from heat.
